Loudness Calculator

Every major streaming platform normalises audio to a target loudness measured in LUFS. Enter your master's integrated loudness to see what gain adjustment each platform will apply.

What is LUFS?

LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale) is a standard for measuring perceived audio loudness, weighted to match how humans hear. Streaming platforms use it to normalise all tracks to a consistent playback level so one song doesn't sound dramatically louder than another. A master that exceeds the target will be turned down; some platforms also turn up quiet masters.
